The Pokémon Trading Card Game: Sword & Shield—Chilling Reign expansion, released on June 18, 2021, is the sixth main installment in the Sword & Shield series. This set draws inspiration from the Crown Tundra region, introducing over 190 new cards, including:
- 15 Pokémon V
- 8 Pokémon VMAX
- Dozens of Pokémon originally discovered in the Galar region
- More than 25 Trainer cards
- 3 new Special Energy cards
A notable feature of this expansion is the emphasis on Single Strike and Rapid Strike cards, enhancing gameplay strategies introduced in previous sets. Players can look forward to new Battle Style cards to refine their decks.
For collectors, Chilling Reign offers a variety of sought-after cards, including alternate art versions of the Galarian Legendary Birds—Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres—as well as special appearances by Calyrex in its Ice Rider and Shadow Rider forms.
